Do you think it's OK to change the career of fictional characters?
I have a daughter who is biracial. Who watches the Disney movies much? I am struggling to find cartoons and Disney characters are in black. Most of them are white and think it's important for her to see the images that look like her. So you think that is good for the career change of fictional characters such as: 1. Santa Claus 2. Alice in Wonderland 3. Ariel 4. Barbie 5. Belle 6. Cinderella 7. Snow White 8. Minnie Mouse 9. Miss Piggy 10. Goldilocks 11. Rapunzel 12. The characters of men X 13. Cartoon characters like Betty and Veronica 14. Thumbelina 15. Sleeping beauty 16. The Swan Princess as well as superheroes such as Wonder Woman and Catwoman, etc. What about James Bond? There are Black British people
You raise a point really good. Where are the African American characters, except maybe Little Einstein and the man in the Incredibles, I do not know. Pocahontas, Jasmine, and Dora The Explorer is the only variety. I think it would be fine to change, ask me how. Probably not in elementary school yet, but I know that all reading books now are more diverse. You can read his Mufaro's (?) Beautiful daughters, who is an African version of Cinderella.
