Barbie and Ken have a new and very possibly a new lease on life … and love.
For fans of Barbie, the state of things between Barbie and Ken leaves cause of concern. Together for 43 years, the famous couple was terminated in 2004. Many long-time devotees to Barbie games were surprised when the couple separated long term, but others claim to have seen the end coming long before his arrival. Also four years ago, there are rumors that Barbie and Ken have been spotted together more frequency. It is lending fuel to gossip that the pair might be seeking reconciliation.
The two plastic celebrities met during the filming of a television commercial in 1961 and have been together ever since. Despite much publicity as many balls, parties and special occasions, the couple never married and finally reached a point where they need some distance from each other. There were rumors at the time of the break that both sides were seeking the attention of new dolls, but no new relationships ever came from that gossip.
The new Ken
In 2004, Ken left Barbie amicably seeking a new and unique. In 2006, he returned more muscular and attractive than ever. While nothing is certain for the two years he was out of the spotlight, it is obvious that at least part of his time was used to develop a new constitution and a new style.
When Ken returned to the social scene of Barbie, was immediately in competition with another adjustment, types of attractions, and Barbie stayed cool. Or so it seems at the moment. He congratulated the new image through his publicist, but it seems that the return of her renewed affection. In 2007, however, Barbie made some changes in his life. She developed a fitter, more natural look and took some of the latest styles. He changed careers (again) and make new friends. And most importantly, small changes made seem to bring Barbie back into the dating game.
The Barbie New
When a woman feel good about themselves, their self-esteem, ratchets and so does your overall productivity and happiness. Barbie looks good and feels great, and the men in her life – including Ken – are definitely taking notice.
During the last year, Barbie and Ken have been seen leaving stores that appear together and as in television commercials. The pair were thought to have reconciled in 2006, but now all the evidence shows that the two might indeed be reaching a new level commitment in their relationship in 2008.
The New Relationship
Barbie is a new woman, proud of her figure and her accomplishments. On its own, for the first time in four decades have shown the world that a woman can most definitely survive and prosper on their own. Being also gave both Barbie and Ken a golden opportunity to redefine themselves and seek a new beginning. And now they have new perspectives on life, but also seem to have a very positive attitude about their future together. We wish the best of luck.
