What holiday traditions to celebrate Australians?
Just wondering if you have special things that are very different from U.S. during Christmas and New Year, if so, please explain. Lol … yes, I know you do not throw shrimp on the Barbie! Would you kiss someone at midnight on New Year? Do you make a wish for the coming year? Do you have the evergreens, which are sent from somewhere else? How to decorate them? Im pretty sure our Christmas and New Year celebrations are the same as the U.S.. The only real difference is that our summer here at this time. My family has dinner raost traditioanl .. Christmas meal, but many families actually pull the shrimp in the Barbie, but we call prawns here. Many families have barbecue for Christmas dinner, because its very hot. We kiss our loved ones at midnight for newyears too /
