Can you check my poem to make it better?

I'm writing a poem for my dad and I have to include a theme repeated throughout the poem thought, in this case I am using "I see in your eyes." I'm not finished with it yet. But I was thinking I could help. this is what I have so far: 1st verse "You have loved me from the moment we met you did not know much, but I knew you loved me You were so proud to be the father of a girl Beautiful Baby bounce that held me in his arms the mother said she had never looked at me to let go and I knew you loved me, I could see his eyes in stanza 2 – Verse 3-You give me everything you may desire not only things like Barbie dolls, crayons and Ipods But it gives me inspiration through their stories the stories I could see through their eyes That's all I got so far in some parts I would get a better flow and I can not get the second paragraph im trying to say how I came to her curly hair and blue eyes thanks to everyone who helpss
