It is rumored that he likes to kick "Old School" style. Well, why not let your apartment reflect?
There are a number of very interesting things and low cost you can take to give your apartment a bit of "Old School" Flava ". If you've been thinking about doing some fun things with your apartment It will take you back and now you can have some gift cards or cash donation to spend, consider some of the following:
Nintendo Power – No, I'm talking about the stupid video game magazine that children use for pain in the 80s. Rather, I am talking about setting yourself with a system that can play all the old games, like Mario Bros, Tetris, and Zelda. A system like the Nintendo FC Top Loading System that enjoy all the old school NES cartridges without any errors. This little machine is really sweet! I recently got one and works amazingly well. I've been trying to break my old records in all my games from ….. except … now I'm playing with them on a large screen!
Bottles and cans …. Just Slap Your Hands – Really. Hit up thrift stores hand, junk shops, and E-Bay for old bottles cool, like watching the 80 glass bottles of Dr. Pepper or the like. You can find plenty of great things that are can cover the top of the cabinets or windowsill to help you with that old school flavor.
Boom Box – And I'm not even kidding. No apartment can really be classified as "Old School" if you have a boom box that can be easily carried on one shoulder while walking down the street!
Movies! – Well … so …. there is no justification for the maintenance of old VHS tapes around, but …. begin to expand its collection of DVD to include films that really ring true for the 80's and 90's. You can take a lot of DVD's like The Goonies, Weekend at Bernies, Dirty Dancing, Top Gun, Rambo, and Die Hard for really cheap at most electronics stores. And we … you can watch these again and again … Right? Be I can and my friends too!
T-Shirts and album covers – Go to a craft store and buy a few frames involved. So dig through your wardrobe, head to a thrift store and online search for Old School t-shirts and album covers. You can frame these timeless treasures and throw up on one wall to create a retro-walls that is something like a cold museum. You can also search older toys like GI Joe's, Ninja Turtles, muscles, Barbies and Care Bears to the line with some shelves and show their appreciation for the classics. My friend, Schultz, framed all of his old Garbage Pail Kids. It looks really cool.
